Wagner Werx is a Southwest Florida fabrication company redefining what it means to live, work, and play around the water. Founded and led by Andrew Wagner, a mechanical engineer with 35 years of experience in automation, robotics, and metal fabrication, the company builds custom aluminum structures designed to withstand Florida’s toughest weather conditions.
Andrew grew up in his family’s Pennsylvania sheet metal business (DNL Sheet Metal), where he learned precision fabrication for commercial kitchens and industrial systems. His career evolved into designing automated systems for major brands like Frito-Lay, Coca-Cola, and McCormick Spices, and even into high-performance automotive engineering — developing turbo systems and race cars that set records in the early 2000s.
When Andrew moved to Florida, he worked at the world’s only fully automated marina — Gulf Star Marina in Cape Coral — before founding Wagner Werx. After Hurricane Ian, long delays in canopy production inspired him to design his own boat lift canopy system from the ground up. What started as a solution for one frustrated marine contractor became a rapidly growing business line — The Boat Canopy Store.

Each canopy and accessory is handcrafted in-house, using automated cutting, precision welding, and robotics for consistency.
